Five reasons to consider the ProPhoenix Pro Standards Tracking System for your department’s needs.

Every agency holds their personnel to certain standards. A good Internal Affairs (IA) or Professional Standards Tracking (PST) program with a robust tracking and monitoring system can help a department prevent liability and litigation by providing warnings before incidents happen. By providing the tools an agency’s leadership needs to manage their department, the right software suite can offer peace of mind for public safety officials .

Below are five reasons to consider the ProPhoenix Pro Standards Tracking System for your department’s needs.

1. Early warning and notification system
With the robust tracking system, our program allows supervisors to receive notifications when an officer triggers a warning based on custom defined parameters. Set parameters of proper conduct within your department and monitor those parameters using real time data. The system can monitor anything from traffic stop profiling data to geo and vehicle tracking , and send notifications to the supervisor’s dashboard.

2. Track any incidents from beginning to end with convenient reporting and logging
Receive complaints or notifications based on preset parameters, regarding any problematic situations based on, for example, traffic profiling data. Manage the case with evidence tracking and profile and tracking data, and apply and track the case up through disposition. Reported incidents can be referred to a formal IA investigation, or documented as a matter of record. Additionally, the Phoenix IA product includes customizable reports as well as standard forms used by most agencies. The author has control over the language in each report.

3. Geo tracking and vehicle tracking
Geo tracking and vehicle tracking allow your department to properly monitor your force in real time while they are out in the field. Parameters and warnings are entirely customizable. Set areas of concern using the map within your RMS system that will warn supervisors when an officer has crossed into or out of an area that is being monitored, or use the in-car GPS system configured with RMS to track the location of an officer at any time during their shift.

4. Only authorized users only can access Phoenix Pro Standards Tracking
Phoenix IA is configured with an independent SQL database and is only accessible to authorized users. Any geo or vehicle tracking that is configured by authorized users will not be broadcast to the department in order to allow proper investigation. Built on the same .Net and browser-based technologies as our ProPhoenix suite of products, authorized users can access this system anytime, anywhere, from desktop to dispatch.

5. Citizens can enter complaints without calling or coming to the department
Agencies that use the Phoenix Citizen Services Program can configure it to allow resident complaints to be filed through the agency’s CSP portal. The complaint process is not limited to in-person complaints at the station or officer house visits to file the complaint. The ability of residents to file officer complaints online is only one feature of our Citizen Services Program. Improve engagement with the community and allow your residents to easily complete tasks themselves that would normally take time away from an officer or staff member. Please visit our CSP webpage for more information on our Citizen Services Programs.

Please visit the PST page on our website for more information, and always feel free to contact us at 609-953-6850.
