KGIS allows all Phoenix users to share data among themselves via a secured internet connection    without duplicating the data to a central location.

      KGIS was created to support the broad scale exchange of pertinent public safety information. It    promotes a standards-based electronic information exchange to provide the justice community with    timely, accurate, complete, and accessible information in a secured and trusted environment. KGIS    Response conforms to the standards of the Global Justice XML standard.

      All Phoenix users participate in KGIS with a shared responsibility and belief that together they can    enhance public safety by sharing vital information.
